It started with one cute beginner ballet class. "It's only once a week," they said.
Then came the competition team. Then the costumes. Then a second costume, because apparently jazz and lyrical can't share. Then the rhinestones. I've glued on more crystals than a professional jeweler.

Am I a mother digging through the couch cushions for competition fees? Literally, yes.
But when she nails that final pose on stage, I cry like it was worth every penny.
